Old Persian Empire is divided nowadays in some sovering countries and the most extensive is the Iran , from where it comes much carpets done by hand, whose techniques of confection still keep the old traditions that had become celebrities, through all the times, the beautiful PERSIAN CARPETS. It is not only the masterness of the rank on make the points , to the times more than a million for square meter, but also the choice of the colors, the well elaborated designs , however floral, however geometric , the reason of the high quality of those carpets. They take the name of the city, region or tribe where they are produced. They are woollen or silk, or mixed. Its quotation in the market is very valued. The price of some ones arrives at the times to the one of a mansion in the best cities of the world. It doesn’et exist a Persian carpet equal to the other , therefore each one takes its proper design .

Each region has a special characteristic. The used wool, cotton and the silk come from the sheep created for the proper craftsmen and from local cultures, and the colors are all natural ones, gotten with flowers and local plants. The most famous are the Isfahan and the Naim, originary of the cities with same name, but others as the Kashmar, the Bidjar, the Yazd, the Tabriz, those ones of the Sherkat cooperative, the Birdjand, the Kerman, the Ghom, equalizes them in quality and beauty.

Tribal Persian carpets are those manufactured by nomadic populations, less elaborated and less fine than the one excessively, a little more rustic in relation to the raised artistic quality and of used material, but always beautiful, portraying the landscapes observed for the craftsmen in the diverse places where they go passing by - the deep one is generally the sand of the desert, always present in their lives. The Gabbeh and the Baluch are the most famous of them. There are others, as the Lori and the Bakhtiari.
Artisan of the nomadic tribe Lori, the region of the West of the Irã. Her sewing machine is improvised and dismountable and the work is made to the outdoors, of stopped in stopped of the caravan, on the sand of the desert.
